Hey 3DX you the man too, and you got to come this year because we were big last year, and this year we are planning on being HUGE. I have been real busy lately with other things, but will be posting some updated info soon. Will also start taking names of those that want to be in some our our great contest.

The non-sponsored 3D event was great last year and we would like for it to be even bigger this year. It gives people that are not sponsored a chance to fly in front of some sponsors, although we make no promises of sponsorship the last two guys that won the contest were sponsored not too long afterward.

We are hoping the price of gas doesn't go up to much more, perhaps we might break our all time attendance record

However, give me a couple of weeks and you just bring it on Of course if you are able to take me on you also have to take Mike, Michael, Chris and Kevin on too. So that means more flying by you.

Hey JB, I got nothing against the Hyper other then I heard it uses a lot of fuel, but if you are flying 10 minutes plus then that is probably pretty good.

If you have not made plans to come to this funfly it is going to be a very good one. With the exception of IRCHA, I don't think ANY funfly besides the competition funflies like XFC or the Nats will have the quality of Sponsored pilots that these folks are going to have at this event.

Really looking forward to it myself, so save your money folks it is going to be a good one

SRC attendance

Here in Texas we realize what gas prices are doing to the travel of fellow modelers and friends. It is our goal the make it worthwhile for you to come down to our FF again this year. If IRCHA is too far away for your traveling dollar and you have to pick and choose what events you should attend, I have to say consider our event here in Mt.Pleasant. Not just because it is our 22nd year at doing this, but we will try to offer something for everyone. We listen from year to year and adjust to what seems to be the popular thing with everyone. We are going to have something for every aspect of r/c heli community.

Check our posting on this subject for a good motel rate too, at our sponsoring Motel. This will help some with costs. Camping a the field, but not hook-ups. Come on down with that RV.

It is well into the funfly season with a lot of great events this year and we will have more details for our event out soon.

I also will be asking for some feed back on who wants to enter what event. Everyone enjoys watching some of the events such as the auto contest, target drop, non sponsored demo contest, novice contest and others but for some to watch some have to enter, so don't be bashfull, start thinking about entering.

If enough people want it, we will also have drag racing, but only if enough people show interest in it, we don't want to crowd out the day with too many events, so start thinking about what events you want to enter as well as watch.

One more thing, we are thinking about having one other really neat contest that will definitely be a crowd pleaser, but I will keep you in suspense a little longer

All Roads lead to Mt. Pleasant

All roads really do lead to Mt. Pleasant for what is going to be another great event this coming September.

The DFW area, the Houston Beaumont area, the Austin area and the Oklahoma and Arkansas area get ready again for a great event.
With the price of gas many people are not able to go to IRCHA and IRCHA is truly a great event, but if you can't go to Ircha then consider coming to Mt. Pleasant for this event.

We have a lot of great pro pilots coming to do demos and some great seminars and night flying plan as well as some great contest.

I have already got some people signed up for our non sponsored demo contest.

We need to start signing up more people for the Non Sponsored Demo Contest and if enough people are interested we will have drag racing too. So please PM me or email me using runryder and let me you are interested in entering some of our great contest. Everyone enjoys watching but it's more fun if you actually enter.

We generally don't have problems getting people for the Target drop and auto contest so we can wait a little while on those events.

Nathan Spencer is going to do a seminar for the auto contest and we will have more details on that as well as our other great seminars that are plan.

So come on guys start sending me a PM or email and let me know if you want to sign up for the non sponsored demo contest, novice contest and drag racing.
