| I think you think this is a complex procedure.
With the PJ-W turbine you have 2 switches on the transmitter. One is the on off switch for the turbine control power and the other selects either idle or full power.
To start the engine assuming the radio is on
1) Switch the on off switch to on and check there is a green light showing on the turbine computer
2) Switch the power switch from idle to full and back to idle
3) when the light stops flashing the engine is at idle, switch the power switch to full and wait for the engine to ramp up
4) When the light goes out, you are at full power, go fly.
The Jetcat is similar, except it only has one switch and one control. The power control is a variable and you need to ramp it up slowly to avoid flooding the engine.
