| Production is pretty much the same as the prototype except for a few details. For example the engine nuts are now CNCed while the prototypes were made by hand on a lathe. They've also been black oxide treated. However, this isn't an issue that affects performance, i.e. it just makes it easier for folks to to install/use the BBC kit.
