Oh Man! I hand ground a nut using the drill press to spin it and a file setup in a vice clamped to the drillpress table to cut the taper. The runout was terrible on the OS engines I have, I could never get below .007 on either engine but on the Webra .61 P5 AAR I happen to have, the thing centers itself within .001 with little effort! Now, if I could only come up with the carb drawbar, I'd be willing to spend the time to make a little tool to finish tightening the clutch hub nut I made and be on my way to my first Pantera Big Block. Anyone know where I can get the Webra part 1056-16O? This is the carb drawbar for the Webra .61, 75 and .91s. Horizon and SouthEast don't have it.

That's a tuned pipe and I'd recommend you leave well enough alone and look for a muffler. century sells one pretty cheaply, which works OK if you don't find something used.

I just put a "bid" on the link you posted. I figure I can install the beast and make the pantera look real bad. If it does not fit. I can sell the package. What the heck. It's only Money. Besides I want a tuned pipe!

This has been explained before. Rather than go into it again, just search on BBC here in the Audacity Forum and you'll find plenty of information.

No, the nuts are not the same. The hubs are not the same though you could drill one out and if you had a thin enough nut that you can get a turned down socket in there, you could use a 50 hub drilled out.. The 50 size engines are 1/4" studs, the 60 and 70 engines are 5/16-24. The engine mount is also going to be different. You could use some 5/16" stock and drill your own rails for now. 5/16" X 3/8" X 2" X 2 pieces will get you what you need.

Hey Blim I thought it would look good also. I was going to bid if no one else did myself, but I do not need it so I will hold off since you are in on it. Post a pic for me.

Pnatera #5 on order for the BBC

I guess the tuned pipe is mine. Oh well. Thats life in the E-Bay world. Anybody need a tuned pipe? I have a another pipe on the way to fit my 61.
I just pulled the trigger on yet another Pantera. This would make number 5. I killed two panteras so this one will be the third in the race ready fleet. I figure the new one will be for the BBC.
I hate pulling apart a good chopper to do mods. Just get a new one to play with.
This is going to be a great summer.
EVO 90 with all the bling that god could muster.
2 Panteras (soon to be 3)
1 Tiger Night ship
1 Scale Augusta 109
1 Blade 400 3D (stick time at lunch)
1 Cat that likes to push parts around on the bench!
