If you hadn't already heard or figured it out, I am the new President of QWW.

Would just like to introduce myself. My name is Clark Driggs. I am the new president of QWW.

A little bit about myself: I have 14 years military service. I am still in the National Guard flying UH-60 Black Hawks. Just got back in Sept from a years tour in Iraq flying Medevac.
I spent 9 of my 14 years as an Apache and Black Hawk crew chief/mechanic. You can say I love helis no matter if they are RC or not. I have been flying RC for 16 years. It's what motivated me to fly the real ones. I have the best of both worlds now. I fly real heli's for the Guard and I am the president of a Heli manufacturer. What else could I ask for?

I know alot of you out there may not like QWW because of personality issues with a certain individual, but that should be no more. You can deal with me. I will support every customer 100%. The quality of the product has always been and will only get better. You can look at our new electric heli's and we will be coming out with a new nitro & gas line also. All in time. If you have any questions of me please email me at clark@quickworldwide.com or call the shop.

As stated in an earlier post, there is a changing of the guard.

Also, I would like to add; please keep the drama off this forum.

Mark Ryder designed and set up this forum for the user to get technical information about the products. If you have an issue with anything, please call me or PM me. I know we can resolve any problem like adults and professionals without having threads closed or getting topics pinked.

Hello INVRTD, Since you are the new man in charge, I would like to ask you a question. I'm interested in the Octane Dominator 20cc Heli. I have tried doing my research on this heli, but cant get a clear cut answer. I have read alot of complaints about it. My question is this. Is this a good quality kit without issues? I dont want to purchase this and have to do alot of rigging to get parts to fit right. I dont have special tools and I dont have the money to get a machine shop to make me special parts. I have Century, Hirobo, and Raptor heli's and I haven't had any problems building these kits, and all the parts fit.

I want to be completely honest with you about this question. I have not personally built the 20 yet. We have 2 in our show room that were built by employees in the shop. We have lots of kits out there that people have built with no issues. I can assure you, if there is a problem with any part we will replace it. It is a builders kit like all machined heli's. Since you have owned and built other kits, I am sure you would have no problems assembling the heli.

Just as invrtd has said the Quick helis are all machined and they are a builders kit. I haven't built the 20cc personally either, but I have built 3 Quicks and one of them is the Dominator 26cc, which shares many of the same sub assemblies and bearing blocks of the 20cc. If you follow the instructions CAREFULLY you will not have an issue. My 26cc went together without issue. I did eventually put on the CNC tail on mine because of issues I was having with the tail bearings failing prematurely. Part of this was caused by having the tail belt too tight. So far I have over 49 hours of flying time on my 26cc without a mechanical failure. I have replaced "crash kit" items on the heli in that span of time (18 months) but of course that was due to "dumb thumbs."

Also if above question YES, I want to buy sweetie 10 conversion kit

I need to know what actually including in this kit like frame, main gear, metal grip, etc....
Pls let me know all parts list in this kit both Pro and Sport conversion kit.

Give me a call at the shop and we can figure out what you need to convert the Q of J machine. I am sure there are some small differences with the machines. We are running some specials. It may be easier to by a complete heli on sale. http://www.quickheli.com/prebuilt.html

Chat with you later,

Clark

I am being activated again. My FL unit is going back to the sand box. I am lucky though and will be mobilized state side. I will no longer be the president.

Well, I am most relieved you are going to be stateside, so your safety (relative) is secured.

I am sorry you have to step down though. You were a great asset to bear with HHI.

Hope to see you at the Tampa F3C event this April.

RE: Fishy

Clark was working here at the shop in PA, with future plans being made by him to relocate to PA. In the meantime he was "commuting" back and forth. Unfortunately he has been re-activated so this doesn't give the option for him to run things here. After his current assignment is done, who knows? I can only speak on the here and now.
