i wouldnt lie about questions reguarding helicopters. those could be potential new flyers. i was joking about flying my 90 in the living room. no im not that guy in the video lol. i have flown trex 450 sized helis in my living room just to check for tracking and what not but my living room has a cathedral ceiling and a very open layout.

late night owlers..

i get off work at 3 in the morning..so i do it in my culdesac, if it is too windy (which ist much at all) then i go inside my house to fly.

currently own 2 fixed pitch helis, so they are quite small. but currently working on a 1/6 scale littlebird. luckily there are a few "abandoned" lots that are perfect for flying that nobody ever goes too.

I only fly at home ( 450' by 250' lot ) and just FP heli's, don't have the time or money to get more serious. From what I read on these forums I would get out of the hobby if I had to put up with the childish behavior that goes on at the flying fields.

I've built on 10 acres between pine forest and state forest, plenty of places to fly Lepton with dx7. I've taken to flying above the house lately (underground elect and tel line) The cleared parts of the pine forest is hard to beat though, compared to smashing into the iron roof.

I fly at work. 10 acr field. I get 3-4 flight a day. At first alot of people would watch but luckly the novelty wore off. Once a gal went walking downto the pond during a flight. (directly across the flight line/area) I set down at once then went around to everyone and asked then, OK TOLD them, to never walk in beond me, even marked out a viewing area and posted signs to keep people way back.

The good ole times are now ,000132

I only fly at home, I have 5 acres but only use about half of it. It is really nice to walk out of the garage fire up the T600 nitro or one of the 450's and let her rip. My only problem is the pipe fence that gets in the way or someone honking their horn on the road out front.

Finally got past the sweating palms!!!!!!

I tend to only do testing hovers now at or around my place.
The 450s really do need room to stretch their legs.

now I only fly my Compy300FP around the house.
