Red dye is put in diesel fuel that is not for hi-way use [no road tax] Farm, Ranch, Construction, heating use ect, Red dye can be #1 or #2 Diesel . Number one Diesel Has a additive to keep it from jelling in cold weather. Most all truck fuel stations have #1 diesel fuel and it's not RED. Get your Facts Right
there is also Premium Diesel fuel what that is I'm not sure
