I borrowed a scale to weight them but I dont remember exactly the weight difference I think it was a like 4 grams. I liked the fact that they were a little bit heavier because when I run my airthunder lipo which is alot heavier than the stock lipo with the extra weight in the tail It was not so nose heavy anymore.

Four grams I can do...30-40 grams, not so much. The heli starts to get sluggish.
I just have to keep count as I mod.

Jim,

I flipped the mixer around like you said in your article but I haven't yet flipped the blade grip. I'm doing one at a time to see how I like it. One thing that my blade 400 does in flight which I would like to fix is the fact that I lose my aggressive cyclic response during the invert. It's like once you reverse collective and are inverted, the cyclic response decreases. Have you ever experienced this? What mod of yours should cure my problem because based on your video.... that's not an issue apparently : ) Thanks

GREAT thread guys! Let's keep it alive. Alot of good ideas and MODs for the 400.

Heres a question, I am looking a replacement head (cnc). I was thinking ALIGN head because I've been running their woodies, and most likely their CF eventually. But I noticed that the align blade grips don't have the mixer arms like the stock 400 grips. How will this effect flight?
