Hover test + Nose_in + bonk = $$

I would have to bet that he damaged the motor with such a hard blade stop and it looked to me that the grips came off.

I would fly a 450 in a space that small...It would only be tail in 1 foot off the ground, but im not seeing a dummy here?Maybe he shouldnt do it until he can fly better, but if you can hover I dont see the problem.I didnt see any risk(more than the usual)of harm to any person.IM prabably going to get alot of crap about my opinion though thats one thing I hate about RR people need to mind their own bis a little more, and realize anything anybody says is only an opinion..

I actually flew inside tight spaces a lot more in my early efforts than lately. I would rebuild late into the night and test-hover in my family room or living room.

Most of my hover skills were honed inside the family room with a Blade CP and an Ark x400 before beginning to fly outside very much.

Last time I hovered the 450 inside, I realized how sloppy those tight-space skills had gotten!

Never, ever, ever, ever give up.

I don't see a problem with test hovering in smaller spaces as long as your skill level is good enough.

I have too many things to break (including me) to try something like that.
