Hello, I just bought a Belt-Cp, i was flying the blade cp pro before, My question is I wanna use my G90 gyro, but i connected everything right, set it to Rev and Standard, and when i connect the battery, the tail servo swings to one way (towards the heli) when its done arming, and when I try to adjust the trim it moves very slowly or awkwardly. I dont know whats wrong, and is my servo horn suppose to be at a 90 degree angle with the pushrod?

90 degrees yes but you will need to slide the boom servo back and forth in rate mode till it holds then switch to HH.

its just the stock transmitter, but my eflite bcpp never did this. its always eiter the tail gyro or the gyro near the front of the heli thats makin the noise or both. any solutions to my g90 gyro problem?

When the servo does the "full swing on initialiation" thing, what are the settings on the tx (transmitter) and gyro, regarding reversing?

Also, what servo is it? If you use Esky or S75 ("Just say NO to S75's" ) or other "normal" rotation servos, make sure the tx and gyro are both set to REV. Dunno what the deal on the front servo could be, unless it's binding or trying to exceed full travel.

I had a similar problem when I tried to use an HS55 in the King's tail, stock tx, Telebee (basically the same gyro).

The HS55 rotates in a reverse direction to Esky and S75's. With the tx RUD channel and gyro both in REV (original positions) the HS55 would move in the wrong direction and the gyro would correct in the wrong direction. I switched the tx and gyro to normal (reversed from stock settings) and the servo would shoot all the way one way and it took all but the last 3 clicks of trim to center. It worked like that, but I wanted a little wiggle room for flight correction.
I got a new servo, a JR S185, and it was reversed, too, and did the same thing. But the specs were great, and so was the price, so I decided to make it work. I put the tx RUD and gyro back to REV (stock), and just flipped the servo arm over so that the ball link was pointed down. I moved the servo up one set of holes on the boom mount so the control rod was at a safe angle to the tail works (I've never used the clip guides), and it's been phenomenal since.

I think there's some kind of issue regarding reversing the tx and gyro together using these stock tx's.

If the tail servo swings all the way in one direction once the gyro arms, you might try removing the the servo horn and re-centering (90 degrees)it with the servo once the gyro has initialized. It sounds like you servo horn is not positioned properly. Center rudder trim before you do this though.

I have to agree with the above post pull the servo arm off. turn on your rado and heli then center your arm on the servo once the heli setup is done.... It sounds like you put the servo arm on before you centered the servo.....

yea i centered the servo arm on an open channel, i havent done it with the gyro connected though, i was just following the e-flite instruction, but il try your method of centering the servo horns.

I have the gyro on Standard and Reverse settings, also anotehr prblem i had is when i swing the rudder left or right the servo horn really doesnt return back to center, it maybe because I havent centered it correctly.

Make sure it's in rate mode not HH....

With a heading hold gyro, the servo won't just return to center. It'll hold position until it has sensed that the heli has rotated to the extent that the rudder was pushed. Normal. Do not panic. Return to your seats, the situation is under control. Enjoy the rest of the show.

Sorry to be a A-Hole but how in the world are you going to get a Eflight Xmtr to do S-Trims and such when trying to set up the CCPM Cyclic Servo's..??

what is that supposed to mean their A-hole.
I don't use any trims I got my heli setup good enough for normal ff without them.

Can you say mechanically perfect???? You don't need sub trims for anything.. I have never ever use subtrims in the 30 years I have been flying.... and never will

Pick up your heli by the flybar the heli should balance or level. It sounds like you need to move your battery forward to get this balance..

hey slider that doesnt work on a king thats the trex stuff.

Seriously the king has a flaw it is slightly tailheavy for stable hands off hover the pitch link needs to be turned in a turn or so. I know the swash wont be level. But other than moving the battery this is the easiest fix now it may hurt your pitch a half a degree I get 8.5+ and 9- good enough for me.

Well you can always duct tape a rock in the nose to help with the balance too........
