| J C, I have been running the King 2 without the pulley's for six weeks now without a problem, just an occasional spray on the outside with silicone spray. Most people will resist that notion thinking it will shred the belt but I have found that not to be the case. When I first got the King, the belt would slip off the pulleys and then suddenly lose tension and spinning goes the tail. So then I tried putting large washers on the bottom side of the pulleys, seem to work alright. One day during a frame change, I took the pulleys off altogether, just to see what would happen and low and behold, not a problem since, there is nothing for the belt to slip off of. (CHINGLISH)
