Fender, If I could afford another heli, I would indeed get a Mini-Titan instead of a TREX for sure, espesially after seeing yours fly. TREX, BLAH,BLAH TREX, BLAH. I am running a TREX se Clone head, I do like it, However the only reason I am using it is because I got it for real cheap monies. I would have perferred to get the ESKY "Purply stuff".

I don't know why the Mini-Titan isn't even More popular, Maybe it was so recently released that it just needs more time. I haven't heard any negative's about the titan, in fact ALL the videos I have seen were incredible, yours and others.

its the whole "t-rex is awesome, everything else is junk" mentality...people are afraid to try anything new......contrary to popular belief,I think the t-rex is a great heli.I've seen tons of them fly.....but everyone buys an SE, some hs65's,a 401/9650.without even considering other helis...and you are instantly "cool".......I just prefer to be a little more individual.....plus I like getting the "best"

Doug - I can actually fly the BCP pro. In fact I can nose-in: hover, land and takeoff with that thing. I even did some flips last weekend. BUT, it's soooooo freakin' hard to fly for me. I'm elated that I'm not the only one who finds it such a job. I would compare it to 'human powered flight'. It can be done by an elite group (very few) and the rest of us can fly it around a little then crash that sonofabitch. Iv'e been at it for about 7 months and still can't believe it's taken me this long to barely fly that thing. So when I hear the raves about a micro I'm all ears. I like that one can use the same batteries I use for the BL BCPP. Which BL inrunner do you suggest? And finally, how and why is a HB KING eaiser to fly than the BCCP?

Yes, YES and Yes, Individual,--Absolutely, Wait till you see the prototype I am working on, it is so far removed from the TREX but it will be far more affordable than the TREX, more for the common folk, the regular people, the Layman if you will. Align will always be there, but there is a LARGER market place, thyne eyes have seen the Glory !

Hello Bob, I would't recommend an inrunner, I would recommend an Outrunner, they run cooler and have more tourque. Some guys run the HDX 300, my friend runs the Esky outrunner and I run the larger Esky outrunner. I would get into why the King is more stable but I gatta go to work RIGHT NOW, wait a bit and people will tell you why! See Ya Bob Who!!

Hello BoB who!!! Who the Hell are you BoB We can go on and on about why the KING is better than the CP but just believe when we say it is the difference between night and day. Tryan, fenderstrat and I, along with many others have paid some serious dues and monies with the Ecrap Blade CP. If you CAN fly the CP you CAN fly the KING 2. The only way to really find out is to get one. Ya Gatta put an outrunner on it right away, but for the money it's small price to pay. Even with the KING 2 RTF and a brushless motor and ESC , IT is still less money than the stock Blade CP. Eflite are Master Advertisers, ESKY are not, word of month is what is really selling the King. If you get the King there is a lot of help here for you, if you go with the TREX, not so much help on the ESKY forum, but help on the TREX forum.

If you can do that well with the CP you'll be doin 3D with the king as long as you use a brushless and a good HH gyro.

Get the $65 barebones king $50 outrunner and esc. And cannibalize the bcp for servos and radio unless you already have a good radio? Which you will want to get one. computer radios are awesome with helis cause of pitch and throttle curves. Sit the BCP on the shelf and go fly the king for a month or two youll find yourself selling the BCP for pennies. Cause you will never fly it again.

Yes this is exactly what happened to me.

Hello and Thanks Doug-
Who the hell am I you ask? I'm just a poor shlump that got bit by the heli bug about 7 months ago. Unfortunately I had nobody but the LHS to ask for advice (and there are alot of hobby shops in So. Cal.). And guess what they sold me? And guess why? That's right they sold me a Blade cp pro. And you can't blame them for wanting to make a profit, after all that's why they're in business. Horizon has made it very easy for EVERYONE to get one. Great marketing (extortion). You find out soon enough that you can have HUNDREDS and in my case, I have 3 of them, SEVERAL THOUSAND tied up in these monsters. In other words, I'm like you it's just that you and fender and several other guys have already hopped the fence. If it were not for tutelar and Micro, I would have looked elsewhere sooner. In fact tutelar should have his belt driven CP by now. So I'm looking to fill the gap between the CP and TREX. I think I've found it. Can I get a HB KING 2 w/o a radio? Who do you guys deal with? Thanks!

Bob

Master of the Blade-- The KING v 1 is shaft tail driven -- The KING v2 is belt tail driven. Bob, I personally like Helidirect.com( Very Fast shipping) or Jag.hobbies.com(great prices)BPhobbies.com(buying from them for years)
