I have about 4-5 hrs in it so far. If I could make up my mind on the pait colors I could have it done today and flying outside on monday nite.... Procrastinating is not a good thing but it's necessary to get a scale heli that will turn heads, and you will really love to work on and fly.....

I have it narrowed down to about 6 different paint schemes and still nothing is making me excited about painting it.. Maybe I should just go with the nap and try again later....

If I was building a scale Rex I think I would paint it pink So at least it would get you some girls.

Jab Jab looks good so far but your right I know from bikes paint choice is hell but dont overlook the simplest colors with the right accents can make for an awesome bird.

Aint that right DougsRC

Magnum PI is right but the colors are all dark, which will make the heli hard to see in a tree line... I got it... ALL WHITE.....

That paint job is going to require me to get out my airbrush and work on the shadowing... I'm more of a rattle can painter one color ata time from the can...LOL I just let the pink heli comment slide on by as sometimes you have to eat your words (as I did yesterday) I couldn't find any sugar to put on the reply I had in mind.... I hear ya I have no patience for painting. But Like I said earlier solid colors and a intricately placed stripe like on that airwolf fuse can turn heads just as well.
ID like to see that airwolf two tone with those blue and silver colors with a black or gold stripe seperating the two. that would make it very visible. I used to cover my planes in some great colors then cover the bottom in solid white just to see it inverted.

Maybe I can get some graphics made from Callie Graphics to do the blue and silver or white That might be the way to go. A complete vinyl wrapper... no paint at all...

I dont know about that it would be so heavy you would need a TREX to lift it.
