I am totally fascinated with the Harrier. Part heli, mostly Jet. IT must consume a Boat load of fuel taking off vertically ????

You loose your breath standing on the flight deck the fuel overtakes your lungs. Joke is after a VTO you have to land and fill up they usually do a short takeoff go kill a tank and come back with enough fuel for a vertical landing.

I was thinking of making an OSPREY and then I said screw it, I have seen prototypes before. Seems simple enough, two motors with relatively small props that tilt fore and aft using micro servos, an airplane rudder for Yaw, Slider get on that would YA !

I don't see me building any airplanes.... I'm a heli guy thru and thru.... I'm trying to find a paint scheme for my new hughes 500E and I don't see anything I like.... I just went thru 25 pages of 500's and nothing jumps out at me....

Slider, How about the Magnum P.I. hughes that Tryan posted. It's nice looking and while it's flying you could have a micro recorder hidden within said chopper playing the Magnum P.I theme song as you take off and buzz around. I'm not just kidding around Slider, I think people would really get a kick out of it !!

I think it is possible to see that heli come out of my shop, just not sure if I want those dark colors or something lighter so I can see it better as I fly in a tree lined area at the marina and white blades and yellow canopy help alot........
