I am still in the process of building my HDX 500SE. And right now I got stuck on the links. I've been using a caliper to measure the lenghts but no matter how I try I cannot make two links having the same measurements. It always comes out that one will be a little longer than the other. Are there any fix on this?
Also if someone can give me the measurements for the links that works well.

Thank you.

I used a caliper too but it's not possible to be 100% Get it best as you can and press on.

You are going to end up changing them a little anyway, I had to shorten the long rods to the mixing arms two turns, and lengthen the blade grip rods four turns to level out the head, make sure you use the right ball link heads, I mixed up a few, thought I was loosing my mind.

Nice heli, but mine came without manual, and the SE manual on the net isn't entirely correct either
Definatelay not a heli for the first time builder, without access to these forums

instead of one full turns, you may have to use half turns and get it as close as possible. Sorry, don't have lengths. Shame they never provided a manual with the SEV2.

I just had to rebuild my head, I just got all my links roughly the same length by eye, I was expecting to have a lot of messing around, but I spooled the heli up just to see if everything was working ok and too my surprise it was perfect, dident even have to track the blades, so I think its not so critical everything be exact, unless I was just lucky.
