ESKY HBK2 RTF - $149

To upgrade to a brushless setup, what do I need to buy? Brushless motor+Speed controller and that's it?

Also, If i want to use another Tx for my HBK2 instead of stock tx, what do I need to buy?
I'm looking at USED Futaba 7ch Tx. Do I need to buy a new receiver and a module? One guy sells Futaba 7ch tx for 90 shipped. is this a good tx with digital trims?

X-mas is coming and I'm so excited.

Yongary, The motor plugs into the ESC, the ESC plugs into ch 3 or Throttle channel of your reciever, thats it. There is no splicing into 4n1's or 3n1's or **** like that. If the radio you want to use is a 72 mHZ FM the King receiver should work providing the crystals match, they both use neg. shift recievers. If the radio or TX is the newer 2.4 stuff, I don't know squat about it and you should ask TRYAN or FendeStrat or wait abit any many will chime in !!

hi yongary

i bought one 10 years ago when i was flying slope out west , then when i got into helis it was a great radio , get the best TX you can , it's the only thing you'll buy , you wont crash

if you are just getting into helis , this might be a good time to get into spread spectrum , with a DX-6 or a DX-7 , the RX's are bomb proof , and with electric helis it really pays off , glitches are the pits
