Hi everyone,

I just move to Solcal,in here it is difficult to find a field for nitro helis. It seems more feasible to fly electric around most of local parks.
I was wondering if anybody tried to convert your Q50 to outdo600? To my understating, outdo600 is based on Q50 platform. I have 3, yes 3 Q50 airframes and would like to see if it will be cost effective to convert it to electric.

My understanding is the upperframes are the same. You would just need to get the lower frames set with front bulkhead and motor mount. Don't quote me on this, but I am sure you can easily convert it.

Thanks for your kind reply. I have been a fan for your products. I do want to get a quote for the parts. I have a few batteries should do the job (thinking of 10S 4000mah from my TP 6S and 4S packs). What battery/ESC/motor/pinion setup your would recommend ? Do I need 620mm blades or the 600mm will do the job?

Thanks very much. I am very exciting about the potential conversion."

THE OUTDO

WE have found any 4130 outrunner with 450 KV on 10s has more power than a 90... I would start off with a 11 or 12 tooth & settle in with that RPM range of 1650-1950. With 13 tooth around 2100, that is big power.

You will need min size of 640 & can easily swing 680-even 700 with longer boom & belt...

We originally designed this machine 5 years ago so it is proven powerhouse. There reviews at our webesite.
