When i first started flying i ran the battery until it died. I got 12 minutes. I set a timer for 9 minutes. I never have a problem until.....I dont set the timer until a couple of minutes after i start and then dont hear the beeps. Bad Bad Bad. Anyways, i noticed the tail start jerking a little so i brought it in just in time. Whoooo That was close. Its not like having a head tank you can look at. Does anybody do anything else to keep yourself from going over the time limit?

More Time

I need more flight time. I have plenty of room for a bigger battery. I think the heli needs more nose weight anyhow. Whats the biggest battery you can put in a Belt CP?

My radio has a timer and I have it set to 8 minutes. I also have it configured in the SIM profile I use and usually practice the SIM in 8 minute sets. Its getting to be second nature now. The last flight I brought it down 17 seconds before the timer went off. If your radio doesn't have a timer most digital watches do, although those are hard to hear.

I just fly till the battery puffs and do it again. I cant wait to get my cellpro 2100. I was getting a good 7min of FF with megapower dropping to 12-15%. same 7 min hover would drain to 9%. I love the cellpro charger it tells you how much you burn how much you put back and much more.
