so I took off and started shaking the heck out of it as I piro flipped it over and all of a sudden I lost all controll of it and it went strait down nose first. I have checked everything in it and I cant find the cause of the crash. the only thing I can think of is that it poped a link on the head, I had herd some ticking in it prior to this when I slam the collective. anyone have any ideas on what might have happened? I got the throttle hold on before it got to the ground but I was only 10 feet high to start with so it hit hard.
radix.......gone
canopy......gone
other than that is wasant real expensive just the usual shafts.

from my experience ticking means link bouncing off of something

ticking usually a link bouncing off the spokes of the main gear.

ticking is not an indication of anything really. it can be alot of things, from a bearing to a bad tooth on the main gear to a link that popped off. Could it be you dumb thumbed it when inverted???
