This may have been answered, and yes I did do a search but did not find the answer I was looking for, besides the number on the side of the case what is the difference between the two above mentioned starters. I have the 90 and want to put 2, 7 cell batteries on it to start my new Hyper 50, given the short run times of the starter would it be worth changing to the 180 from the 90? Thanks Mark

Whatever!

Your starter should work fine on 2 7-cell packs. I use the Hobbico Torqmaster 90 on 18 volts and it starts my 90's very easily.
