| I get about 10 degrees in both direction and could get a little more if I want to go past 100% on the end points.
First are you centering the stick when you do your setup. I has to be in the center position and the trim in the center before any adjustments are made.
At the center position on stick, all arms and servo's at 90 degrees, I have the blades set for zero degrees pitch. You also have to be sure you rods are adjusted so the Swash is in the center of it's travel range.
I'm running Hitec HS65 servo's with the cross type arm and the out hole approx .375" from center to ball.
I have to run channels 1,2, 3 and 4 reversed.
In Parameters make sure you have HR3 selected for type and you will want to put your three position switch on channel 5. That's switch G on my radio but think it's E on yours.
Throttle Curve should stay 0, 25, 50, 75, 100. For 3D your Idle up curves will change to near 100%. This will depend on you
Pitch curve for general flying, no inverted or 3D where you need negative pitch on blades.
P1 - 48% P2 - 50% P3 - 69% P4 - 82% P5 - 100%
For 3D pitch curves you will probably go with 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 with some adjustments to suit you.
Gyro will be set according to your gyro and setup for the three position switch. I run
UP A 75% CT A 52% DN N 50%
My swash is set at HR3 AIL+ 50% ELE+ 50% PIT+ 50%
My radio is the 7CAP and I thing the location and letter for the three position switch is the only difference.
This is also on my MX450 which should be the same as your 400 if it has had the eccpm conversion. |
