I read that all the new kits being sold have this new helical gear. Is this true? And if you have an older kit you need to buy this for $79.00?? Just wondering Thanks

Helical gear set

You don't have to purchase the helical gear set as the Xtreme will fly fine with the blue gear, but the latest gear is the helical gear.

All the new Xtreme 50 Kits that RjX of USA is shipping have the new gear set in them.

The first kits out had the regular blue gear and pinion, both the pinion and clutch bell have to be changed out.

You got that vbar thing a ma jiggy figured out yet.I hope it will be for the FF down here.I am druling over this kit,I may do alittle tommorow between honey do's,Ill send some pics.

Helical Gear

I got one in my kit and it is very smooth, I had some in my Trex 600 electrics and I really liked them, they work great and are quieter as well.
