So far I give this heli a B- Extremely durable!!! Long flight times. Cyclic is slower going in some directions. Easy matinence. Hands off hover! Quiet and very clean(not all greasy) Motors do get to above scalding temperature. Battery is cool and is quick to charge. Minor adjustments out of the box to be able to fly with confidence. Compact. But has anyone had the problem of the battery getting stuck in the battery tray? How do I resolve this? Suitable for a beginner.

Grasp it by the tail, and using an overhand motion, pound it repeatedly on a hard surface until the battery comes out. No. Don't do that.

Seriously, though, if the battery went in easily, but wants to get stuck after a flight, you may want to check the battery for swelling, or "puffiness". This could indicate over-discharging of or damage to the battery. If puffiness is found, don't charge or use that battery again. It could get real ugly real quick.

It could just be the plastic wrap around the cells getting hung on cutouts or rough spots in the battery compartment. Careful trimming of the plastic (NOT the foil!) or taping some high spots down may help.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you...

So among other helis, I was curious about the quality of the ESky Honey Bee King 2, I mean, an rtf ccpm heli for under $200, I figure this may be pretty cool.

Well, made some small adjustments while it was charging, got it dialed in, and took it out for its maiden flight in my front yard. I was humbled when it started heading towards my wifes 1970 Dodge Challenger and I had to crash land it to keep it away from the car.

Anyway, I really want to take this thing to a park, but I haven't been able to get new blades for it. Having been in this hobby for less than a year, I'm not all that familiar with heli blades and how interchangeable they are from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Does anyone know if I can just purchase any blades of the same legth? or do I have to also match thickness and/or mounting bolt hole size/location?

Thanks.

Its a coaxial they are all about the same go to ebay and buy 5 sets 20 blades for $12 free shipping. It takes a while from hong kong but worth it. Oh and the quality of the king is awesome the best of any 300 size heli on the market. I bought a lamav4 for my daughter this xmas. I played with it for while its way to easy for me I was laying on the couch and landing in the palm of my hand in 5 minutes. But they are very relaxing compared to a cp heli. Although you dont get any adrenaline rush like with my King.
