Nah, its a real heli that was released on the advertised date without any hype that needs to be rekindled every few months while the sheep wait for a model that will probably be outdated by a few years when (if) it ever arrives.
Only messing with you the same as you were messing

The avro is a great heli and worth every £££ unfortunately the exchange rate will probably damage USA sales, but then its about time the UK actually had a fair price on things when compared to the rest of the world

I'm getting to build one for a friend soon, after flying the MHW review model I really like it. May even order myself one for Christmas and rekindle my F3C flying (although I would not be any better than I was before).
www.blitz-helicopters.com is where you will find them and you can read about it in the last issue of MHW

Heli flying is no more expensive than a weekend drinker
Its heli crashing that costs money
Then again, if the weekend drinker crashes, it may be a h*ll of a lot more expensive than even the most expensive RC heli crash!

After talking with the maker of the Avro extensivly i would have to say its one heli i would buy in a heart beat if i could afford it :O
But alas i'm but a meer lowly university student as it stand so its 600n for me for now *sighs*.

But yeah, the avro's a real heli as far as i'm concerned, it has a high initial investment but its ultimatly built to last with the highest quality components avaliable...

Kinda like a quick UK heli i guess heh.

I would love to hear from some of you guys flying them about how well their holding up mechanically and how they seem performance wize

Best regards

Hi SkateFreak
I cannot say how it is standing up as i have only test flown without the canopy. Waiting for a half decent day to glaze it.
Build quality as you say is second to none.
You mention Quick UK. I had the feeling that it could be posible that Q UK were contracted to manufucture the relavent parts, thay are definatley there style & quality.

hmm

Have to agree on the super design. Looks like several helis and maybe one that comes to mind more so..

Either way I am sure things like this can make the heli world evolve a little.
