Me too... I can still get one flight in when I get home from work before it's too dark out then it's sim time. I keep a heli on my boat so I can fly anytime all summer long... If it's not too windy I'm in the air...

I for one never had flown when it was snowing or raining. Because I have been told it can get into the electonics then you crash. But I usually fly big birds now.
Did someone step in poo poo I gave up on the winter flying in my nitro days but one thing I did enjoy was flying off a frozen lake. It is cool to land a heli and skid it accross the ice. I got that idea from an old training video I have. In the video guy is out on the ice teaching you how to fly and does a few cool touch and go skids. He did not leave any skid marks on the ice . Winter just never did my rc equipment any good. It was always fun until something cracked.

I used to fly planes off a frozen lake back in the 70's it was alot of fun. We would build a big fire and huddle around it to stay warm. Now days you would be put in envioronmental prison for doing something like that...

this past march when I got my BLADE the next day we had a snowstorm followed by freezing rain...so the snow had a layer of ice on top....I spent the next few days sliding my heli(with training gear)all over my yard like a skating rink....my neighbors thought I was nuts....especially the night I was out there with a flashlight DETERMINED to get a hover

If it's a coax Lama you can lure her into the bedroom to fly a lama..... no need to go outdoors for that... If it's a 50-60 size nitro lama, then yes your going to need the room....

I would say Find an 8 x 8 room and let her go with the lamav4 coaxial. Women don't find things like helis very interesting when they are uncomfortable. I'm sure you know what I mean.
