So whats it like to think outside the motor driven tail?
LOL, I ended up stripping the motor, esc, and batts, out of the BCCP and put it into my scratch built glider.

I had to financially recover from being out of work from surgery back in May so I had to hang up helis for a little while and flew my glider while I waited. But now every is back in order and I'm getting back into helis.

"Council status denied for time being" Accepted! but in defense the battery powered micros don't have near the pucker factor as a 90 on 30%nitro! LOL Fire that baby up in the living room..and watch the wife run...LOL. I just might not belong in such an elite group?

I believe there is a place for everything I dont have the space or funds for a 90 but if I did it would look like this.

Lets see some pics and vids to see how much you like the King

Can I ride my bike to sturgis and run your car down the track?

For a fee you can straddle the nitrous bottle for a trip down the track

Hey it happens. But you will be happy to hear that this is also on my christmas list http://www.helidirect.com/product_i...roducts_id=2923 I'm planning on stripping it down and redoing it to make it look more like a vario bird. I figure that I can work on the fuse. while I dust away the heli flying cobwebs. It is going to be interesting since I've become VERY comfortable flying fixed wing again.

The reason I like it is it's fiberglass and I can work with fiberglass so doing the scale stuff will be a little easier. I do agree it is pricey but it's the best looking Airwolf for this size heli.

I agree just don't want to spend the money and have too strip the paint off But I may. I was gonna get another barebones kit and build it up. But I decided to get a new 2100mah pack and a carrying case. Ill do more flying before I start building scale.

I fly scale only anyways so I'm not worried about getting a second ship for the build. You guys should get one too so I'm not doing one alone. It would be wild to have a scale thread with 3 different versions of the same bird going on.
