The question was asked if I could only piro one way. Well I shot a video showing my piro's, sidein (both directions) and the squatting method for checking blade tracking or flying while on the toilet.

Definately a council approved video. Under complete control and with the successful side-in hovering, you are only a C-hair away from nose-in hovering. I love that Futaba Gyro, its solid as a rock and when the piro stops there is no hint of a wag, it just Stops dead.
OH YEA, sitting down whilst flying is not the easiest thing to do either !!

Men definetly every one of you are having hard times with the wheather.
Here at Caracas Venezuela we have beautiful days, warm, sunny excellent flying moments. So good that today I flew my HBK2 right to tree top, hehehe but i took it down almost throwing stones.

About the pyros, well try both ways bot for me is easier CCW looking from top, because y fly wsith the thums only an is more confortabl pull the stick outside than push it inwards.

But when yo begin to make FF, you'll always have a confortable side and a obscure one, and that's exactly the one you have to practice more.

If you have the oportunity try the G3.5 sim, It helped me A LOT with nose in and other semi 3d stuff.

I hope the counsel don't smack me out!!

I used to have a CPP, now i have a Honey "blade" King 2 and a Raptor 50

Smack you out?? Just the fact you acknowledged the council puts you in good Favor. Back in my plane flying days, I used a variety of methods to get a plane down from a tree. First it was throwing stones, then sticks, then it was tying a 100 ft fishing line to the end of an arrow and shooting the arrow thru or over the plane and a guy would each grab an end of the fishing line and rip or pull the mother down. Another method was simply climbing the tree and shaking the **** out of the branch the plane was stuck on. The ultimate and final solution if all other methods failed was cutting the tree down, ONLY had to resort to that once, but it works. Its not the plane or heli as much as the electronics, motor and battery that MUST be retrived at any cost !!!!

Yea, Man, One guy would put a dowel thru a spool of fishing line and the loose end would be duct taped to an arrow and up it went, hopefully over or thru the plane, sometimes it took several tries but sometimes you would get a direct hit, OH , what a feeling !!!

Another method that worked pretty well , was making a bunch of batons about a foot long out of inch and a half PVC pipe and tying the fishing line to one end and whipping the baton up and over the plane to be pulled down from its tree like prison.

Hehehee yeah I puted the heli at the top of the tree!
But the tree's braches where to thin, so i shacked the bracnh and took it down! but at the same time I was totally laughting about myself in that situation.

And that's not all, yesterday "saturday" I was flying the Raptor, starting with my new 3D capabillities and was so excited that I forgot about the nitro....yeah it went down, but my Heli Luck this weekend was more than i thoug, the Heli landed in a soft, large, bushes down the hill where we use to fly.

Tucuso, I have been to venezuela a few times, it seems like it is always windy there. But then again i was working at the refineries so maybe it was getting more of the trade winds than where you are at. Either way, nice pics.

DougRC,

Hey sorry I am late getting to the forum, WOrking 12 hours shifts, dont get back until 730 or so. Love the fact you can keep an entertaining forum with just yourself.

Thanks Burlyman38 !! I wonder if there are many large flat fields in Venezuela, it looks like Tucuso is flying over and around a tropical jungle, trees and helis are not the best of friends!

Open Fields!!! men, there's too much land here, that fly point we use just for saturdays cos is closer to caracas adn we named The Hole, is a great valey between some elevations.

There are more open fields in other states and cities, but i was just luky that the raptor falled in the only bushes.
