What gyro and servo are people using on these? I could never get my minizoom to hold the tail. I plan to put it back together again soon with the long boom and blades like the hurricane 200.

Futaba 401 with Futaba S3154/HS50, or even (much) better, Spartan DS760 and Futaba S3153. Both works well, the spartan is lighter and quite a bit better.

3153 isn't too big? I have one on my trex now, maybe i'll throw it on this bird with a logictech 2100 or something, the gy401 is kinda big.

What about the pitch slider? are you using the stock one? Its sloppy as can be on my minizoom. This is the dual bearing one.

I just got my heli in the air man this heli is sweet my set up is 3 hs45 and hs 50 0n the tail with 401, tail rock solid but I would like to try a dital servo but for now its ok I also would like to see
what would be a better tail servo.

so the the slop in the pitch slider is not a problem? can someone take a close up of the tail or point me to a place with a picture, I'm assuming its the same as the mini zoom, but maybe they changed something. Mine is sloppy as can be.

That s185 looks real nice, but not digital?? I'm assuming no ball bearing either? What makes it better than the hs50?

its faster and centers perfectly

plus its screwed together and made from true servo plastic not the crappy brittle blue stuff.

are you getting that slop from the double bearing pitch slider,or are you still using the single bearing one.
my carbon tail with a dbearing slider is very smooth and tight for me.

I just looked at my heli really not that much slop its around the same as my mini-titan I had no tail wage on my fligts which is around 6 flights.

the slop is coming fromt he double bearing slider it self, from the little clip on ends, also from the flimsy tail blade holders. Also, there is slop in the pitch arm and in the ball links themselves going from the pitch are to the servo.

while you might think im nuts,use the firefox links they are stronger and a little thicker,in general they seem to hold up much better than the gaui links i use the firefox headlinks to.also slightly tighter fitting.

and no these servos are faster than my digital futaba 3154
