The video shows installation of the pulley (in between side frames not at tail) with the pulley side toward the end of the shaft and flange w/ grub screws up.

The pulley was already installed the opposite, with the grub screws toward the end of the shaft. It seems this would be the correct way because there is a flat spot on the shaft near the end for a grub screw.

Can anyone tell me which is right? For now, I'm going with the grub screw at the end of the shaft with the flat spot, assuming this was a design change after the video. The video I don't thing showed a flat spot.

Ok, nobody has put on of these together, or has one they can eyeball for a second?

Pully up or grub screw at top, then pulley, when viewing the tail drive gear & pulley?

Which HDX build are you talking about? There are several variations out there. And to make it even more interesting, if you are talking about a HDX300, there are several tail variations also.
