| JC is the "CD"OK JC, if you want to include "modern" heli's that fine.
A bunch of years ago, maybe 8, I was compiling a list of vintage heli's for a "1980 and earlier" vintage event. The list was posted to the old "H-List". I was trying to provide the models that I thought would qualify for this era and typed these for all list members to judge.
FP = Fixed Pitch P&B = Pod and Boom CP = Collective Pitch
~Schluter: (Original) Bell Huey Cobra, FP, Scale DS-22 "Enstrom 28", FP, Scale Gazelle, CP, Scale Helibaby, FP, P&B Super Helibaby, CP, P&B Bell 222, FP, Scale (Early Heliboy mechanics) Heliboy, CP, P&B SX-81, CP, P&B Cheyenne, CP, Scale Bolkow BO-105, CP, Scale (probably after 1980) HeliStar, CP, P&B (probably after 1980)

~GMP: Competitor, CP, P&B Cricket, FP, P&B Cricket Hughes 300, FP, Scale Cobra, CP, P&B (Have to check dates. May be too late.)
~American R/C Helicopter: Rev-O-Lution, FP, P&B (.40 powered) Rev-O-Lution II, FP, P&B (.60 powered) Mantis, FP, P&B (.40 powered) Super Mantis, CP, P&B (.40 powered) Commander, CP, P&B Eagle, CP, P&B
~Micro Mold: Lark, FP, P&B Lark II, FP, P&B
~Morley: Hughes 300, CP, Scale (Don't know the date of this one)
~Horizon Helicopters: Horizon 60, CP, P&B (Flybarless and Flybar models)
This list was specifically limited to 1980 and earlier because I felt 1980 was right at the time when "modern" helicopters really hit the market. Machines earlier then that had a more primitive aspect and therefor more difficult (more of a challenge) to fly. It's from this group that I'd pick to show everyone.
