What's the distance between the mounting holes??

I run QuickUK skids on all my helis.. they come in short and tall versions, and in several colors. Price is $18.. check with Rick's.

If it's the same as my Quick 60, then the QuickUK ones will not be wide enough. I have some stock white (low) raptor 90 skids on my Quick 60.... and even they had to be drilled out past the flat part.

I am considering ordering some rubber mounts from Irwin (QWW) to put on the 60.. then I should be able to fabricate a plate to use the QuickUK skids that I like. Plus it will be extra insurance for the $$$ carbon frames!
I would rather my skids break free than take the frames with them.

ZXX,

If your goal is to have the landing gear break away, then you may want to consider bolting them to the frames using nylon bolts , rather than the usual metal bolts....

To spend $30 to $50 dollars on a set of landing gear is simply just NUTS !!!!

Some people have more money than brains !!!

PS---- It doesn't matter what the distance is between the holes on the gear you buy...... you can easily drill new holes to suit your needs......

I sure wouldn't pay $40 for some skidz...
I was talking about buying the rubber isolators that mount between the frames and skids.. I think they were like $20.
Part number is HHI2004 and they run $17

And the QuickUK skidz have a raised mounting rail on them, and if the frames are wider than the rail, they won't work under the heli without some crafty fabrication of aluminum plate.

I like your tip about nylon bolts.. I might give that a try and see if they can hold up to a not so perfect auto without breaking off. I want the skidz to break away in a crash while absorbing some of the impact, but they also need to be secure enough for a rough landing.

Century skid set will fit real nice, low wide and black. Gives a very aggressive look, and dump the dampers, who cares if the frames break they look awful!!
