e-Gaui Hurricane 200 & 550 - EP100 > Gaui 200 question

I just test flew my 200 and it flies great. The problem I am having now is with the elevator servo. I am using a Hitec hs45 all around on the swashplate. I ground the lip off of the ball because to get the rod straight I needed to mount the ball on the inside of the servo horn. What is happening is sometimes the ball catches on the bottom off the servo. I knew it was close when I built it, but didn't have any problems show up when setting it up. Any ideas what I should do to fix this small problem? I will post pictures of the setup later. Thanks, Chuck

I also had to grind the ball down, to get the servo arm to fit without the ball hitting the case.

It's close, but I haven't had any issues with it in the last 7-8 flights...

HI guys. the problem is sorted out and I flew a pack thoguh it.I ended up taking just a little more off of the ball. Thanks guys. It flies great with only a couple of forward clicks of trim. I am really going to like this heli. Ray, thanks. Tell Kyle Sam's flying is starting to take off, ( I think that he had a lot to do with that ) Not only is he flying the CX2 on Thursday nights, but he is also flying Bruce's CP Pro. He has about 5 packs through the pro now with no problems. He is also using the simulator to practice the manuevers now thanks to Kyle. Here is some pictures of the completed Gaui. I think that it came out great.

Too funny!

Chuck I put the replacement screws into the bell mixers, and they are much longer! they actually stick out the back slightly. I am much more comfortable with these in there.
I put two packs through it, Tuff to hang on to with a 20mph breeze blowing through the garage!! But all seems well......

A friend of mine just got one, we built it and set it up. Everything went smooth with no problems. Its an impressive looking heli. Hovered it in the shop and it hovered nicely. Its really dialed in and it sure impressed alot of guys watching it fly. Really nice metal head and low parts count. Also the canopy is really robust and not flimsy. Jimmi
