I got a used Dynatron starter that needs re-wiring, I want to fit 'banana plugs' for the power panel but can't remember which way the starter is supposed to spin. Can someone remind me please?

Depends which end you are looking at.

The motors normally rotate anti clockwise looking at the crankshaft end, which would be the same looking at the rear of the dynatron.

Just stick the bare wire ends into the panel sockets, to confirm you have them the correct way round, then solder the plugs on.
