come on man, don't compare Min Air to align...that's not even right. Align puts out low quality garbage that cannot compare with Min Air. Align is the first and only company to post pics and prices before a release.

Yes, and they also make upgrades to fix problems shortly after the release I have seen and held the Bandit in my hands and it feels like a real machine, not a toy

Maybe Heliproz should stop selling Align products then I love MinAir stuff, and I think the Bandit will be great, but the above comment coming from an employee of an Align selling shop is quite funny

And you are dead wrong on Align being the only company to release the pics and prices thing. We have had the Aurora pics, videos, and estimated price for A VERY LONG TIME and its not released yet. I am sure many others have done this as well, its not a bad practice at all - especially if companies actually come close to the promised release date (as Align usually does). It helps their customers make a decision on components, etc and rather they even want the heli, all before its released.

I think the funny thing here is that MA has not set a release date and therefore can't blow past it without producing. So no one can be upset if it doesn't come out when predicted. It sure is a lot easier for them to not put out a release date/price and let everyone complain about a promise they didn't make then to give a release date/price and listen to everyone complain just the same. It's so easy for all the armchair quarterbacks to pass judgment. I can't wait to get a Bandit. I have seen it up close and held it. A very impressive little bird. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait and it will come out when it comes out.

Is this a copy of the Beam? It looks alot like it! I recently saw the Beam in action and got to look at it first hand, it looks realy nice and I like the no-slop head and the one piece tail gearbox. I think those are available now.

All conventional helicopters are copies except for the first one. You will notice this when you look at all subsequent helicopters and see that they all have tail rotors, main rotors, skids, tail booms and a canopy.

it is far from a copy of the beam... the head is completely different (its basically a miniature stratus head now, and the entire machine has little to no slop, where as the beam had the same amount of slop as a normal trex. the bandit is a much tighter flying and more precise machine, and the new head which is unlike any 450 on the market has a much larger cyclic range and is much quicker in transitions.

Yeah, but it is still a copy because it has a rotor head, tail rotor, tail boom, skids and a canopy. I can't wait to get mine. I've had the Trex and the Beam. The Beam is a huge improvement over the Trex but the Bandit is even more refined than all of them. Rightly named the Bandit, I think it is going "steal" a fair share of the smoke and thunder in the 450 market. I think Align better be steppin their game up for this one.

I doubt that Align is too worried. The MA Razor did not have much of an impact on the market, nor did it change the Align Trex600 design either.

Since the Bandit is really just an upgraded Asian designed/made Beam, it won't take long for cheaper, MA look-alike upgrades to appear anyway imop.

I hope MA does ok with these little Bandit's though.

I have had a trex 450 and 600 and this little MA heli is more precisely built that either one of those. It will fly better just because of that one fact. The head is as solid as the head on my stratus 90! I cant wait to get mine.

If the upgrades you are talking about are not as slop free then they will downgrades. Besides, why would anyone want to try to upgrade a perfect helicopter like the Bandit.

Most people dont usually modify the basic design of the MA machines. I dont think I have seen anyone change the head other than maybe the other MA head set.

I have not yet found a reason to modify the heads on my MA stuff.

I have built and flown the beam, and although the frame is similar looking, how different can it be? it's still a heli, and nearly all heli's use 2 slabs of carbon fiber. The ones that use 4, uh hem..are not going to remain as popular, I don't think. The head is TOTALLY different, different than any other model, and quite a bit more adjustable. I like it.

i talk to a friend at min aircraft did not have a price yet but the release should be at the end of

next month and the prices are to compete with align and if that happens bye bye t-rex 450 for many and me this heli will set the bar
