Apparently, this newbie pilot is just learning to hover. No training gear and way too close to the heli. The camera person appears to be too close, as well. These people are very lucky not to take a piece of the rotor blades as they struck the ground.

I don't know why he didn't use his chest as a helipad?

There is dumb, and then there is this nut; it kinda proves that he is from the shallow end of the gene pool !

You can tell the heli was setup by a newbie also. The tail isn't even holding. Probably got trim on it or maybe given wrong input as he was trying to bring it up and correct for the drift. Freak'n dumbies. Some people still think these things are toys.

Well that sure is alot of heli for a newbie IMHO. Could be very dangerous for himself and others. I work at my LHS and I would never sell something like a 600 to a newbie at the risk of them hurting themselves or others which could cause some undesirable attention from authorities.
Then again he probably got it online.

Stupidity and Ignorance reside side by side, and there's always room for more.

Please be safe!!

If you don't know what you're doing seek the help of those more qualified than you.

wow, i love how he was trying to hover in every orientation first shot out!

you'd think that he would say to himself "hmmm why is this just spinning around on it own?"

Obliviously not the brightest candle out there. Hopefully no one was hurt.

Hopefully he’ll come to RunRyder or go to his LHS and track down someone with experience for assistance.
