In my opinion

They`are all becoming the same bird.

All are

CCPM
Open tail Box
Head mixing the same as Xcell, synergy,Trex 700 ,Avant(adjustable)
new Vibe 90(SG edition)Most everyone using same servos,blades, 8 volts, 2.4 radios

and like you said it comes down to the pilot and practice

Agreed.

The End.

Videos of the event

I hate to mention the competition (you know, the "other" forum). But "Finless Bob" was there, and has posted some videos in the HF video section of Helifreak.com

xlkb, Bert wasn't there, but several others just as fun to watch.

Also, (this is a shameless plug I know), while you're over there, checkout my son's demo (Kyle Dahl), flying for Team Mikado. It's hard to hear the music, but oh well.

Take care, Dave Dahl

Dave your son Kyle is incredible behind the sticks. All I keep telling myself is I dont want an Electric helo then I remeber how smooth your son flew the Makido and damn the urge. Its good to see the next generation and even better to see them as good young men. Thanks for putting in the hours that flybarless system was DAMN INSANE!
