The stock swashplate on the Eco was designed for 90degree mixing. Can you use a radio with 120degree mix to do the same job?

I only have a Hornet on eCCPM so I am unfamiliar with the adjustments but I think with some careful adjustment and creative mixing you may be able to make it happen. I would not know specifics for you. I think if you set it up with less travel on the aileron and pitch servos, that would make it happen. Although you may get some collective interaction when you give elevator. You could add a mix to remove that though.

Just guessing,

Dan -

Are you sure your radio cant do 90 degree CCPM? Every radio I know that has 120 CCPM has 90 as well.

The stock swash can only do 90 degree CCPM. You cant make it work with 120, so you gotta find the 90 degree CCPM in your radio

If you want to do 120 CCPM, which I highly recomend, you need to order the upgrade aluminum swash. Not only does the heli fly a heck of a lot better with this precision bit, but you can use the 120 or 90 degree CCPM with it. 120 works a lot better than 90 overall - though even 90 is fine.

Dan,
Is the remote a JR XP266, or 662? I went to JR's website because I know they have a lot of there manuals online, and I didn't even see a JR XP266 listed, but the manual for the 662 says that it will only do 120ccpm.
You could try to fly in 120, but it's not the best idea. I was flying my Eco 8 in 120 by accident, when I first got it up in the air.
I would purchase the aftermarket swash plate, because I tried out the mechanical mixing, and I liked the ccpm much better.
In case you don't have the manual, go to

If my wife finds out how much these things cost, she's gonna kill me!!!
