Ok, updates...
New head block is taller, gives more room for larger angle of attack for the flybar cage.
Mixing levers are shorter, more cyclic and pitch.
Seesaw is for SA version only, will not fit the SE properly and seems to have no upgrade over the SE version anyway.
Washout levers, this is where it gets tricky.
If you want plug and play, dont buy the washout levers.
If you dont mind a bit of dremel work to get a maximum result, then read on
The new washout levers are around 4mm longer than stock, this will make them hit the anti rotation bracket.
I dremelled away at the bracket in an arc to suit the sweep of the washout levers as they are moved around.
Then you have a new problem , now on full forward cyclic, the bearing that sits inside the anti rotation bracket pops out of its groove, and could possibly snag under heavy load on the way back in.
I removed the locknut and spacer, put the bearing on the allen screw (so its furthest away from the swash) got another bearing the exact same size (Shogun 400 tailcase bearing) and slid that on as well, put spacer back on closest to swash.
Leave the locknut off, its not really needed if you use locktight.
Screw everything back into the swash.
Now you have double bearings, at full forward cyclic, one bearing will always be inside the anti rotation bracket.
I havent had time to finalise my setup with these new parts, or measure pitch and cyclic.
But I can tell you just by looking at it, that there is a good deal more performance available.
New tail gear is 12 tooth, stock is 13 (hope I got that around the right way lol), stock tail pin is too long to slot into new gear, Dr Dremel to the rescue again.
For your blade grip links, use one of the medium HDX links and one of the small with the same shorty link rods.
So there you are, not a raving bolt on revue, but with a little thought all the parts do what they are meant to.
I would upload pics, but this is a work PC and Im in between moving for the next few weeks.
I will post them later on as Im able.
Cheers

If you bling it, they will come :D

Thanx Gorn for installation tips. I have also ordered 3D kit from takeoffandland. Then seeing trex 500 price I decided to give my hdx500sa one more try.
I am mostly concerned about washout binding antirotation bracket. Other difficulties seems to be easily solvable. Photos would help a lot.

Done a few test flights with the new mods.
Got 11.5 + and - , very good cyclic as well.
Testing was cut short today with a forced auto
Pinion gear came loose, no power, from about 12 feet up.
Got down easy. just bent the skids a little bit.

If you bling it, they will come :D

Went and flew a few packs today, very hot and windy, but flying time is always a great time
This thing is seriously fast, tracks really nicely.
Still doing 5min flights, packs are charging now, but voltage was 11.3v for each pack.
Had to fly under a pack of Cockatoos coming to eat the grass off the field lol, rather low and expecting to see feathers and blades flying.
I got a little too low coming in backwards, and dorked the tail fin.
No other damage.
All in all Im very pleased.

If you bling it, they will come :D
