The OS 50 with the muscle pipe will run better without the head shims if you plan to use 15% nitro. Proper distance is 1/8 inches between header and pipe. Coupler should be changed every 50 flights. Should be easy to tune with this set up and really put out the power. If your just breaking in the motor, I would suggest the 3 extra ounces of synthetic oil added to the first gallon. Morgan Fuels Cool Power 15% is a great fuel for this set up. Morgan also makes the synthetic oil. I did this to mine and it rocks. (OS 61 WC) All these set up tips I can not take credit for, I have to give them to Conrad "the drag racing & tune pipe king" in Mississippi. I am also running the 9.3 to 1 gear ratio which this set-up seems to like a lot  |
