Can someone tell me what size ball sizer tool I need for the 500? I think it may be the 4.75mm, but I'm not 100% sure.
Thanks!

Just want to pass on alittle info for the new pilots just getting started. It's important to size the ball links. On my kit the adjustment rod ball links where too tight. Also the elevator arm link was tight. They will still work, but tightness makes the servo motors work harder, which in turn may drain your lipos faster.

Thanks for that info but mine works well out of the box. But I do agree with you making sure that every links should be free and smooth.Pinoy

Is there more than 1 size tool? I ordered one and it really is too small for the Gui ends and the screw will not tighten enough to get a good fit...

Most all the ends had too tight a fit....I ended up using some for my ECO 8 on the servo wheels but they are a different size than the Guis...

The JR one is a bit small, so I just applied pressure sideways as I rotated it and it worked fine.

To expand on the link tightness issue, the links should fall under their own weight when positioned horizontally. You want NO friction from the links, but also without any slop either.

I just received my JR sizer today, and like Ecoheli said, it worked great! Pinecone, I actually had to press the link on my sizer with alittle effort, so maybe there is a difference in the ball links. It work well for me, and now my rods drop freely on the balls.

I had to press hard to get the sizer in the link. But if I just twisted like like normal, I couldn't get the link loose enough.

So by pressing sideways, I had it carve out a slightly larger hole and it worked fine.. As alwasy, YMMV.
