Hi,

I always flied a T-Rex 450. I just built a Hurricane 200. I built it the best I could, but one way or another it is way to unstable, I cannot even fly normal.

I have the following setup...

Hurricane 200
3x Hitec HS-45HB
1x Futaba GY401 + S3154

The tail is stable, no problem with that. The swashplate is leveled and 0 pitch at mid stick. My expo is at (-)35%. My cyclic is at 30% istead of 50%. My pitch is at 35% instead of 50% But the heli seems to go all ways, like balancing on a skippy ball. I checked everything, but I cannot find any problems.

Any suggestions to make it more stable? Or what may be wrong?

Please advice :-(

I have a T-rex as well as a EP100

I had to lower the head speed on the EP100 to get it to settle down and hover like my T-rex.

Give yourself plenty of room to trim that rascal in.

You will find it to be blown around by it;s own air until you are about 2 feet in the air.

Are you using your fly bar weights? You will probobly need them.

Are your radio settings the same as your T-rex?

I found I needed more exponential than what I have on my T-Rex

Hi,

I finally got it to fly much better. First of all the ball links seemed to be to tight. Some linkages had some plastic on it between the balls and the ball links. The flybar now moves more smoothly. I still have an unblance while flying forward (to the left) or backwards (to the right), while my swashplate is perfectly leveled. Still working on it.

The tail holds well, but I'm not really satisfied yet. When I hit (full) throttle. Still working on it.

1x Futaba GY401 + S3154 (DS mode enabled)
