hey everyone, I have been quietly utilizing this and other forums for help with both of my HDX products. I have the HDX300 and HDX450, I am thoroughly enjoying the 450 but need help with the 300. I have purchased this baby from E-Bay and the person I dealt with really set me up nice, the helicopter needed only my radio equipment to fly and he included all the videos from finless. I have it together and it responds properly on the ground but in the it is sluggish and acts very weird. I have a hard time getting it to respond to proper inputs, I took it apart and put it back together, set it up and still have the same issues. I also installed a lypo battery light monitor thing and it is working, just not sure what to do.

The heli comes up on a vertical plane and it flat in a hover but it is tough to keep it there. The tail isn't responding properly and not sure what to do.
I will take it apart and start over, but was wondering if you all had some input, I also build a custom battery tray that works pretty well, I would like to get the v3 frame conversion because I really like that battery set up.
My set up is a 7chp, the 146ip receiver with hs55 servos and a gy240 gyro. I use the 1320 mah red pack from helidirect, I like this thing but man is it getting to me when I can't fly it and am not having any problems with the 450.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if you guys would point me in the direction of the stronger main shafts and who can send me a few out here in Iraq I really would appreciate it. Thanks.

See Gmucllan's post There is a thread here that is like 20 pages long on set up and such. (for 300's) I have one that is flying nice! If you could elaborate on you're tail issue we may be more help. If you are running fly bar weights take em off, maby leave the inner most two on, depends on how fast you want the cyclic. Remove training gear if in use, this will make it way more stable.(in the air)

I have had good success w straighting the stock main shaft after a hard crash, lay it on an an anvil and roll while hammering with a soft mallet(plastic/brass) when it rolls smooth try it in the heli, my record is 3 repairs on one shaft before it would not spin true! worth a try if you have no parts support.

I'm sure you will find all the help you need here, let me know if I can help.
