Try a Nitro Tim. Give it at least one try. I have to admit its a little more work, but there's so much more power. At least there was between my Raptor vs my Knight 50 3D. The Knight is balistic compared to the Raptor. Maybe you should try a Knight. Its only $450 for the kit.

Vic: I've got two SE's both carbon everything, one Hacker and one soon to be Scorpion rex, for now it has a no name outrunner 3500kv that works good. It will maiden with the Scorpion.

If it's like my other Scorpion motor, it's got plenty of power. Won't get to test it til next weekend. I can't wait to test it.

This Sunday I'll just have to fly the one Hacker Rex.

And the planker YAK foamy.

Nitro isn't too bad Tim. I have a exhaust diverter to keep away most of the exhaust off the heli and its been working good. It don't even smell. I was so surprised cause I thought it would be smelly and nasty, but its not.

The Hacker works fine. Flys just the way it's supposed to.

W/17t it supposed to be in the 2900 range, or 3116 depending on who you believe.

Same thing happened to me when I first got it and it's been that way since. I tried Futaba but no luck there.

Glad you got your Scorpion motor, won't get mine for a .???????? who knows. I still have a good motor for it but I really want to try the Scorp!

Went and flew the Hacker Rex, I sure enjoy this heli. It's got some good stuff on it. Hacker, HS-65MGs, 401, airtronics 94761, SE carbon everything. oh, running on 6V too. 220mm flybar.

Flew the YAK54 all over the place, tried the bipe foamy again, it's an aquired taste....it's getting all the electronics yanked out and put on a Flatana, smaller foamy.

Going to be at Sunland in the morning.
