The tail fin is way too short, in my opinion. It only extends a few mm beyond the rotor.

I ended up grinding the tail rotor several times during the first few spool-up tests while assembling it.

I did this fix for the tail fin, and I haven't had any issues after that.

I used a large 7" zip tie for the extra guard, some servo tape to keep it from sliding, and two other small zip ties to hold it firmly. It doesn't have much flex, and protects the tail rotor MUCH better.

I've seen it 3D in person with Kyle Stacy at the sticks. You can see the videos they've posted here. Didn't appear to be lacking at all.
I'm thinking I need to get one, too. Looked like just the heli for some indoor flying.

I'll be able to let you know about 3d if i could just find a good tail setup for this machine. I have a gy401 and a g90 efite gyro as options. The gy401 is so big that when i put it in the frame, I'm catching some noise from the motor lead wires, and g90 keeps drifting one direction over the other. Neither holds well. I've tried hs-50, and 3153 tail servo. I'm getting a 3154 today so I'm hoping to get that all figured out. I may be able to get some light 3d videos tonight if I get it all figured out.
