I am pulling my hair out. PLease help! It is set up using the 120 CCPM. The elevator is reversed. When I reverse it, the ailerons become reversed and the pitch becomes reversed as well. I have the servos plugged into the proper channels per the JR manual. Any advice? Any websites that will guide through the radio programming?

Go to your CCPM menu

Where it says

Ailron +60
Elevator +60
Pitch +60

Play with those and reverse a few to

-60
+60
-60

Etc.
Try combinations of that.

I am using the Align basic 500x gyro. The tail is crazy. Not enough right rudder and spins violently after lifting off the ground. The servo is a HS55. I am sure it is not fast enough. What servo do you recommend for the tail with this gyro?

Gyro is reversed

Sounds like your gyro is reversed.

The trailing edge of the TR blade should go in the direction you push the tail. So tail left trailing edge left. If this does not happen hit the reverse switch on your gyro or flip your gyro over.

Same with input from your controller. Right rudder should move the trailing edge to the right. Left rudder should push the trailing edge to the left. If not hit the reverse on your radio.

Also start out with centering the travel of your servo left and right evenly. Servo should be at 90 degres with zero input from the controller. Set gyro travel limits so that it does not bind and has equal travel on the TR drive shaft.

Thanks. The travel is alot less when the gyro is plugged in. I unplugged the gyro to se how much travel was there without the gyro. It travels full left and right. When I plug in the gyro it restricts the amount of travel and only gives very little right and left. Ant thoughts? Should the servo arm on the rudder servo be very short? Thanks

If you can't adjust travel on gyro then yes go with a longer arm

Also radio travel adjustment ATV does not affect gyro to rudder travel limits. ATV affects pyro rate.
