See how Luka Riva does hard Align 600N 3D with picture in picture video of his radio

Here's an excellent video of Lukas Riva rocking his T-Rex 600N along with a picture in picture video of his controls:

http://www.tuks.ch/video/lukas_stabio_PiP.wmv

He is an amazing "thumbs" flier. His setup is:

Trex 600N with align motor+pipe
Align blades
Fun Key paddles
Aerospire MultiGov governor
Futaba GY611 gyro

Enjoy.

I'm a noob so maybe I'm missing something but does he have his collective reversed? It sure looked like he was left thumb down and the heli was goin up. Left thumb was up when he was inverted. Is there a reason for this? Is anyone out there running thier set up like this? Maybe just personal preferance.

Just personal preference. He could be imitating a full size heli where the collective is pulled back to lift off & pushed foward to descend.

In the old days RC pilots used to follow the tail & therefore rudder was reversed back then.

You get some pilots who fly mode 3 - opposite of mode 2 as it's easier if they're left handed.

Never met anyone who flies mode 4 but there are some who do.

Mode 4 has collective & aileron on left stick and elevator & rudder on right stick. It's the opposite of Mode 1.

He is flying mode 2 - just invert colective stick, up stick is down heli and down stick is up heli.

That change is because if you are in a real heli you pull colective to go up, and push do go down. Lukas do the same thing, he pull stick to go up, and push do go down.

Could someone please explain what the shaking of the right cyclic stick does?

ROFL! Too funny, man. Gotta love the precision maneuvers Lukas does. It's wild 3D, but right on target. The heli doesn't do anything he hasn't told it to do. What control. Great flying, dude!

Hi...

Thanks to every body I really appreciate yours comment...
For Cam UK: yes I was shaking the stick, but seen that I was using the 9252 and they aren't so fast, the heli was shaking not so much and into the video you can't see it so good...

Sam2b....
At the field we haven't coffe so we drink only Red Bull...
