| Hey eagle001_uk,
From your description I'd be inclined to say the battery maybe loosing power. This was similar in the old Hummingbird to, as the main batterys power dropped the tail rotor speed decreased to and so a slight drift could be seen. However as we're using LiPo's this shouldn't happen until such a point that the you would be destroying the LiPo through over discharging it.
When you say it's fine to start with, how long into a flight does the tail start to drift?
Another quick idea is the tail motor, if it's been caught up a few times and/or the model has been used a lot the tail motors do wear. Inflight this could start to get steadily worse until it shows in a drift.
A couple of ideas, I'll see what other information you can give me. .
