I guess

you need to have Intralink if youre working on ProE network, if not you can import in different formats using; iges, step, etc,

Make ideas into realities...

I'm running the student version on a single PC, not a network, this isnt the same version I was using years ago.

The thing is I have created several items, but I cant remember what I have to do in the software to bring them into one project so I can move them about and assemble them.

Importing items to open them is no problem.

which version are you running?

If you're running wildfire, just open up the old files using the file-open command.

If you want to assemble them into an assembly, use 'insert', component, assemble. This assumes you're already in assembly mode.

Start a new assembly.
Insert>
Component> browse to the part you want.

If the parts are not native ProE, then use File> Open> and then set the selection filter to "all" or whatever format they are in, e.g. STEP, Neutral, whatever. Then save as a ProE .prt After that you can assemble them in the assembly.

The commands I listed are for Wildfire 3, you didn't mention what version you are using.
