hi,, i have had 2 sets of the align 600d blades and both set i have had to balance,,one set the blades were really mismatched in weight,,,, HAS ANYONE else seen this??????

I have a set of Align 600D night blades that are so far out of balance they won't even track =( Two other sets just like it at the shop. They got a set to track after adding 3 grams to one of the blades!

yea,,kinda crazy and things i see with align products being really inconstant..will probably be the last set of align blades that i buy,

If you do a search here on RR on "align blades" you will get a very disturbing picture.

There are numerous threads on the subjet here and in other forums.

Personally I don't believe any of them as I do not think Allen and other top flyers would be flying for Align if there where any problems with any of their product.

Why not? If they get a bum blade, they'll just get another one for free so no big deal. Blade QA at Align seems to be a hit or miss even after the different versions.

Alan and "other top pilots" don't fly Align blades anyway...The fly V-Blades. So the only people that seem to be "testing" these blades are us, the end user, which is why it takes so long to fix these problems.

That's not necessarily true!!
I was at the field with JK last week and he is running the new Align 600D blades. We have 2 birds with the D blades on them and they work perfect! JK explained that the new blades have a braided cable now that runs from the mounting hole, down the lead edge of the blade and is imbedded in the weight at the tips of the blades.. JK took the blades off of his heli and gave them to some other folks to try out and they were very impressed. He said that both him and Alan were running some new style SAB's prototypes (which he showed me) until these blades came out.
Just as a suggestion I would contact or send any defective blades to the Hobby Shop you purchased them from and they will take care of them i'm sure...
They are there to help and support us!

I also have a set of very unballanced 600D carbon fibre blades, i couldn't even spool the heli up, the whole thing was leaping off the ground. My 600B blades run perfectly.

I have a set of the NEW Align 600D CF blades and have had no problem. and as for the troubles with Align blades is the old set and this problem has bin solved. There is nothing wrong with the D blades and if there is then take them back and get a new set. I have had no problems and I see only a few here have so I would hardly be scarred of them at the least. They are great flying blades and will hold up. There is nothing wrong with the Align D version blades and they are the new ones to take care of all old issues.

friend let me try out some Align 600D GF blades today and all I have to say is kicka$$! No balancing tape needed, these blades pop-n-lock with the best of em...

Not related to Align 600D but just want to share my problem here as I use Align CF blade. I'm using 600B and have difficulty to track. I tried Funkey blade of my flying buddy, it perfectly track. May be I am 1 in a million!
