My xcell custom that I got used has allmost been fully rebuilt. It has
a ysst2 motor.

I have a small vibration 1/8" 1/4" noted at the the bottom of the vertical
fin, it is what I would call a medium speed, not like a horizontal fin
buzz but not slow like a mainshaft or main blade balance.

It's not the following, t/r blades, grips, hub, or shaft.
It's not the torque tube assy.
It's not the fan or clutch assy or main gear.
It's not the main shaft or axle or blades, I tried my entire head assy form
my 2nd custom.

Any suggestions on what or where next?

PS most people don't notice it but I am a perfectionist and know how
smooth it really can be.

Out of balance

Well you've tried everything? Even If you've checked the entire head and tail assembly and it balanced doesn't make it balanced. Make sure that the tail blades have the same span wise cg and main blades. If you vary your head speed you should see the vibration come and go. This is a good indicator that something is out of balance. The only other problem that I can think of is your engine. Some glow plugs can cause your engine to run ruff even thought they sound smooth. Your mixture settings can also make an engine vibrate.

Hi,

Tail gear mesh too tight? A little bit of end play in the t/r shaft cause it also. Horiz fin clamp tight, Body gromments getting worn out (but you see it in the body also), loose or cracked tail boom support, tail hub loose, push and pull on the fin and put your thinger on the front of the clamp and make sure the t/r gear box is'nt rotating on the tube (under the clamp) and can't tilt forward or backwards (make sure the screw through the clamp, boom and gear box is still there. If its the bent lg brackets make sure the rear of the brackets are not cracking near the boom supports. Big squitors on one blade

Euphoria is a perfectly smooth helicopter, keeping it that way is a full time job If all else fails then just fly farther away!

Crunch all you want, they will make more. Please use rr's pm feature to contact me.
